I have worked in online and print PR for over 15 years, and I love the challenge of promoting local businesses, and driving growth in more established companies. In fact, our study in 2019, based on 4 years of data found that the optimum day and time to send a press release in Texas is 10.16am or 2.34pm on a Tuesday!

The team at Cherry Digital put together a highly successful local campaign for Texas-based car dealership San Antonio CDJR, that examined the relationships between drivers across the cities in the Lone Star State. This was accompanied by an attractive static infographic map. The local press across Texas featured the story heavily, including those valuable backlinks to San Antonio CDJR’s website. Publications that featured the story included Telemundo Austin, abc 7 Amarillo, CBS 4 Local, KFOX TV, CBS Austin, abc 13, Msn, Times Record News, The Houston Chronicle, Midland Reporter Telegram, Express News, MY B106, FOX 7 Austin, My Kiss 103.1 and Local News Only.
We also ran a recent Texas-focused campaign for Alcohol.org. We studied the percentage of Texans who drank alcohol while working from home. The local media loved the story, and it was featured extensively in leading Texas news media, such as the Abilene Reporter News, El Paso Times, Caller Times, Times Record News, Go San Angelo, KETK, ArkLaTex, KLUV Radio, FOX 7 Austin, Texas Border Business, CBS 19, News Radio 1200 WOAI, LMT Online, Click 2 Houston, CHRON, and mrt.
As well as in national publications such as Yahoo, Forbes, Msn, BroBible, Huffington Post, FOX Business, Ladders, Mashed, ELLE and Good Morning America.
Another extremely successful campaign focused on local publications across America for online security review website SecurityBaron.com, showed the safest cities in each state. Not only did this story do exceptionally well across the whole of the U.S. but it was also picked up by lots of local press. In Texas the story was loved by publications such as Trophy Club, Local News Only, Herald Banner, Royse City Herald Banner, Bunker Hill TX, FOX 7 Austin, KFOX 95, Lufkin Daily News, Athens Review and Houston Press.
